Pam Hoye, Owner of Calhoun Beach Framing

Pam Hoye

Pam is the owner of Calhoun Beach Framing. She bought the shop in 1994. Pam has a B.A. degree in Fine Arts from Augsburg College. She paints, sculpts and does pottery. Many of her creations are sold at the shop. Pam takes a great deal of pride in: having one of the most extensive selection of frames in the Twin Cities, having a design team of all artists, providing personal attention to customers, and producing all projects right on the premises. What Pam loves most about CBF is working with customers who trust her creative process. Pam has 20 years experience as a designer, framer and shop owner.

Judy received her B.S. degree in Studio Art / Commercial Illustration from Nazareth College, NY. She is an artist, creating paintings and prints. A favorite subject matter is scenes of Minneapolis.  At CBF Judy loves  designing. Her goal is to make every creation “a thing of beauty”. Judy has over 8 years experience as a custom framer.

Anne studied studio arts and graphic design in college. She continues to do graphic design and paint in acrylic/watercolor as well as do intricate paper cut outs. She loves the craft and artistry of custom framing and works to create the perfect look for her customers and their needs. She especially loves to work with screenprints, blockprints, and vintage graphics. Anne has been framing for over 6 years.

Barbara Dorset of CBF

Barb writes the newsletter. She’s Pam’s mom and has learned about the framing business from Pam. Although Barb is a psychologist by occupation, she has taken classes at the national framing shows on newsletter writing. She really enjoys her creative writing job.
